Ultra-Trail Tour du Mont Blanc Overview

The annual Tour du Mont Blanc race runs through France, Italy and Switzerland and covers 166km and a massive 9400m climb. The current record is 21hrs and 6 min, but the time limit is 46 hours. This race starts Friday, the 28th of August at 18:30 in the center of Chamonix.

There is a 2nd race which runs from Courmayeur in Italy to Champex in Switzerland and then to Chamonix. This race is shorter, 'only' 98 km, with a 5600m climb and a time limit of 26 hours. This race starts Friday, the 28th of August at 9am in the center of Courmayeur.

A 3rd race 'Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie', is 105km long, has an altitude change of 6700m and starts Saturday the 29th of August at 5am in Chamonix town center.

The last race 'La Petite Trotte à Léon ' is a team effort that is 250km long, 18000m of altitude change and starts on the 25th of August.
