Le Vert Hotel Overview

Le Vert Hotel has opened its doors in 2006 and has established itself as Europe’s premiere Alpine sports hotel. The hotel boasts a restaurant, bar, lounge bar and pro shop and offers plenty of adrenaline-packed summer and winter activities. Le Vert is set in a beautiful, natural environment next to Les Gaillands climbing wall and lakes, and is just a short walk from town. The charming old building has been renovated inside, and has a funky mix of old and contemporary design.

The hotel has 21 comfortable and spacious rooms for 1-6 people, all with en-suite bath or shower, decorated in a simple Alpine style. All rooms have television and WiFi. This hotel offers flexible check in/out times, breakfast till 11am and no curfews, so you can come and go as you please. It is possible to not only book a room, but also include breakfast and dinner, shuttle bus service, equipment hire, lessons and guiding.

The restaurant at Le Vert introduces a new dining concept to Chamonix. The idea behind it is to offer a relaxed and flexible style of dining with the intention to provide great food with an atmosphere that flows through each of the bars. You can have a proper dinner in the restaurant area, eat your pizza in the lounge bar, or order yourself some bar snacks in the main bar. The Chef prepares an original daily menu of international food with Asian influences, which is always good value for your money. There is a good choice for vegetarians in this restaurant.

After dinner, why not have a digestive in the comfy lounge? Or try one of their amazing cocktails in the main bar. Chamonix’s nightlife guide ‘Le Petit Canard’ has voted Le Vert best bar in 2006 & 2007! The decor of the bar is funky and casual, with great art on the walls by local artist Jamie Strachan, an amazing black concrete bar with fibre optic lights, a pool table and big screen televisions showing major live sporting events and the best mountain sports DVDs. The bar attracts a good mix of locals and tourists and puts on regular events. Local and (inter) national DJ’s and bands contribute to the great atmosphere at le Vert and really get the party started.

Managed by an enthusiastic international bi-lingual team, Le Vert offers you the comforts of home and a great social environment to meet like-minded people. The staff are working hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They have lots of local knowledge that they are happy to share with you. In the summer Le Vert organizes lots of sports activities in summer and winter like mountain biking and snow camps. Sports packages are in association with Evolution 2.

These guys have got it going on Amazing vibe, great food, a busy and very cool bar. A pro shop in the hotel transfes and organised guides, everything is looked after. Not to mention the friendly welcoming. Good work, ill be back.

I have been to Cham many times but this is by far the best discovery yet, a perfect mix. It feels like walking straight into a social life that you immediately feel part of, friendly, comfortable and a great concept. I will be back!

What a place, fantastic staff, homely but very cool atmosphere. Great food, free pool and always a diverse but friendly crowd. By the way the music rocks. Dont miss out on one of Chamonix's little gems. Its worth the walk, or the free shuttle. MF

This was an amazing place to stay, great staff, friendly atmosphere, comfy rooms and everything you need to never leave. Fantastic for a group of friends that just want to have a great time and are made to feel very welcome. You wont be dissapointed. Natalie
