Zero G Overview

We are Chamonix's largest, oldest and best-known 'alternative' sports shop. We do mountain bikes in the summer and snowboards in the winter, skateboards and longboards year round, and carry Nikita, Analog, WESC and Element clothing.

In the winter we carry snowboards, boots and bindings by Burton, Ride, Dupraz, Rome, Forum, Option, Arbor and Thirty Two. We have a workshop which does 100% by-hand repair jobs and hand hot waxes, and an up-to-date fleet of Burton and Ride rental boards with capstrap-only bindings.

Our summer retail store carries a full line of Specialized, Santa Cruz, Rocky Mountain and Electra bikes as well as any piece of riding gear imaginable, and our three-mechanic workshop is second-to-none in the Alps. We have forty bikes in our rental fleet, all Specialized, all 2007-issue, from Hardrocks through Rockhoppers to Big Hit IIIs and Demo 8s.

Our staff speak English, French, Italian, and Swedish and know the best places to ride in the - whether on bike or board - and will happy supply you with trail maps and recommendations of where to go.

thank god for zero g

was gutted when i turned up to zero g and saw they were shut. i'd broken my binding and was about to go heli skiing. luckily some guy inside heard me banging on the door looking desperate, so they opened just for me and got the binding strap sorted. thanks again guys, great shop nice 1
